Vision For Life (VFL) Islamabad organized First all Islamabad / Rawalpindi Speech Competition 2009 at National Training Center For Special Persons, Islamabad on 16th December 2009. In this competition 30 participants from more than 25 NGO's & Institutions has participated. In which Faisal Iqbal from Raess-Ul-Ahrar College, Rawalpindi takes First Position, Noor Muhammad From Siddique Public School has scored 2nd Position and Ehtisham-Ul-Haq from Govt. Qandeel Institute for the Blind, Rawalpindi took 3rd Position. In the closing ceremony President Vision For Life (VFL) handed over prizes to the winners and announces that this event will be held in Islamabad on annual basis in the future and also the number of participants will be increased.
