Dastoor Trainees Take Part in Youth 4 Peace by UNDP

Dastoor Trainee with visual impairment speaks to the audience at the Youth Dialogue on Peace and Security.

On 17th August 2017, Dastoor trainees with visual and hearing and speech impairment took part in the Youth Dialogue on Peace and Security arranged by UNDP Pakistan. Representatives from PACC, Dewa Academy and ABSA School and Colleges for the Deaf played an active role in the discussion and contributed towards solutions to security issues in the local community; these solutions will be passed on to policy makers at a national level. A sign language interpreter from ABSA School and Colleges for the Deaf was also present to facilitate communication.
