October: NOWPDP conducted a one-day sensitization session at Unilever as a part of the disability inclusion initiative between the two organizations.
The session was designed to equip the Unilever staff with knowledge of practical steps and processes for disability inclusion as well as address concerns, raise awareness and disseminate disability relevant information for sustainability. This would then facilitate the attendees relay this training to the other employees.
The session received an enthusiastic response from the attendees. NOWPDP intends to have similar sessions here and in other organizations to impart relevant information about disability inclusion that facilitates the integration of persons with disabilities.
