Goal
The Parliamentarians Booklet was developed to:
- Increase the understanding amongst law-makers of the UN Convention for the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, and steps to implementation
Our Contribution
NOWPDP developed and distributed the booklet to members of Parliament in October 2011.
The booklet contains the following topics:
- What is an inclusive society?
- What is disability?
- What are the benefits of greater inclusion of people with disabilities?
- What can I do?
