#100Days100Lives is a 3-month long campaign to create employment opportunities for 100 people with disabilities through a mentorship program. This campaign gives individuals an opportunity to take up the mantle of disability inclusion by creating one job for one person with disability, and contribute in making Pakistan an inclusive country.
The global economic turmoil caused by the COVID-19 pandemic has created a financially precarious situation in Pakistan. For people with disabilities, for whom the lack of access and opportunities has been ever present, the situation has become even more critical. Despite the presence of National and Provincial legislation and the Supreme Court’s order for the implementation of employment quotas, 71% of people with disabilities in Pakistan are still unemployed.
The #100Days100Lives campaign will allow our mentors to not only provide livelihood for people with
disabilities but will also enable them to work on the implementation of the law.
