Accessible Cycle Design Challenge Session held at Mehran UET, Jamshoro

12th February 2016: NOWPDP representatives consisting of Amin Amir Andani, Manager – The Rickshaw Project, and Muhammad Anwer, Driver – The Rickshaw Project, visited Mehran University of Engineering & Technology, Jamshoro for a session on the Accessible Cycle Design Challenge.

With an audience strength of 60-70 students including their chairperson and senior teachers, a very positive response was received. Many students were extremely thankful for the session, given that very few organizations come to their university as they are based in a remote area. Numerous students had already registered for the Design Challenge whereas the rest took it as an opportunity to learn about it.

NOWPDP is extremely thankful to the organizers from Mehran UET – Mr. Sangi and Ms. Nuzhat Shaikh (also a NOWPDP Ambassador) and presented both leads with tokens of appreciation following the session.
