Accessible Cycle Design Challenge session held for students of KU - Visual Studies Department

NOWPDP hosted a session regarding the Accessible Cycle Design Challenge (ACDC) for students of Karachi University’s Visual Studies Department. The Rickshaw Project team touched upon important aspects of the challenge and sensitized students with the disability etiquette. A question and answer session followed after which AIESEC (Campus Engagement Partner for ACDC) representatives conducted a survey for their upcoming event ‘Youth Speak’ with all the students.

The students also observed and rode the tricycle present in The Rickshaw Project Workshop to better understand the design defects. They showed a keen interest towards participating in the challenge and will perhaps be taking it up as their university’s final year project.
