'Meri Duniya Ke Rang': Inclusive Wall Painting Activity with Partner Organizations

Friday, 15th April 2016: NOWPDP hosted an inclusive wall painting activity titled ‘Meri Duniya Ke Rang’ by bringing together students with hearing disabilities from one of its key partner schools – JS Academy for the Deaf (JSA) and employees from one of its highly supportive corporate partner organizations – Jubilee General Insurance Company Limited (JGI) at its premises.

During the day long activity both set of participants, along with the NOWPDP team, not only completed the wall mural with immense dedication but also interacted with each other, building a great network. A small certificate ceremony was also held in which certificates of appreciation were presented by representatives of Jubilee General Insurance Company Limited to the students from JS Academy for the Deaf.

NOWPDP is extremely thankful to JS Academy for the Deaf and to Jubilee General Insurance Company Limited for taking time out to support its cause of an inclusive society. Special thanks to Ms. Shehla Ali and teachers from JSA Academy, and Ms. Vahishta Byramji and Ms. Ayesha from JGI for their cooperation.

A special thank you also goes out to the team of teachers from Indus Valley School of Art and Architecture, namely Ms. Tazeen Hussain and Ms. Javeria Rafiq, who spared time to generate the design for and sketch the wall mural for this activity. NOWPDP eagerly looks forward to hosting and participating in similar activities in the future to further its mandate of an inclusive society.
