20th and 21st October 2016: Aiming Change for Tomorrow (ACT) is undertaking a gender based violence (GBV) project in three districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, namely Nowshera, Mardan, and Sawabi, with Irish Charity organization – Trocaire. As part of its collaboration with Trocaire, NOWPDP through Program Yaqeeen, conducted a two-day Disability Equality Training with the staff of ACT in Mardan.

The training, delivered by Faizan Polani and Karim Navroz Ali from NOWPDP, culminated in participants identifying action steps which would be taken by the staff of ACT to make their organization and its programmatic activities inclusive of persons with disabilities, given that disability was discussed to be a priority area/cross-cutting theme for all programs of the organization.
