NOWPDP conducts disability inclusion training at Research and Development Foundation (RDF), Hyderabad

15th August 2016: Research and Development Foundation (RDF) is currently working on the front of livelihood in Dadu District with Irish charity organization – Trocaire. As part of the follow up to the Disability Inclusion Training conducted on 30 March 2016 by Program Yaqeeen, which was attended by three representatives of RDF, Faizan Polani and Nabil Shaukat from NOWPDP,  provided the RDF team with an understanding of accessibility and organizational policy.

The aim of the follow up session was to culminate in participants identifying action steps which would be taken by RDF to make their organization as well as its programmatic activities accessible to and inclusive of PWDs. Alongside supporting RDF in making an action plan for disability inclusion, in particular the area of livelihood, a review of RDF’s organizational policies and accessibility of RDF’s Hyderabad office was also conducted by Faizan and Nabil, and recommendations provided for enhancing the accessibility of other RDF offices, in particular RDF’s Dadu office.
