The Rickshaw Project team gives motivational talk at The Lyceum School

The Rickshaw Project team gave a motivational talk titled “The Barriers Made Me Stronger” at The Lyceum School on 29 September 2015, which was attended by more than 30 A-Levels students and teachers. The Rickshaw Project team members shared their personal stories with them, which highlighted the challenges they had faced because of their disability, and how each challenge made them a stronger individual.

After the hour-long talk, the teachers and students interacted with The Rickshaw Project team members, and also extended their support for legalizing driving licenses for persons with disabilities (PWDs) through signing the petition. The students and teachers also expressed their keen interest in collaborating with NOWPDP for creating awareness about the need to have driving licenses for PWD, and undertaking a signature campaign at The Lyceum School to further the cause.
